Our intent

Inspired by the 100 Women Who Care movement in the USA, a group of women decided to bring this idea to Flagstaff County.

Our goal is simple: bring together 100+ women in Flagstaff County who care about local community causes and are committed to charitable service.

Four times a year, we meet for an entertaining evening and jointly vote for local organizations, which have been nominated ahead of time. Each woman or team sends their $100 prior to the meeting, which entitles them to a voting ballot. They then watch how her/their $100 donation to the winning organization, along with the rest of the group’s commitment turns into a $10,000 or more donation.

With four meetings a year and 100% honoured pledges, we can witness how $40,000 or more can improve the lives of our neighbours when placed in the hands of deserving organizations working to serve the Flagstaff region.

Our steering committee includes the following ladies from the Flagstaff Region: Holly Bovencamp, Tanya Piche and Joanne McMahon
